Last Thursday, FRC 180 S.P.A.M. had the incredible opportunity to participate in Palm City Elementary’s STEM Night, and what an unforgettable evening it was!
S.P.A.M. brought along our competition robot and gave students a firsthand look at the exciting world of robotics, engineering, and technology. The kids’ reactions said it all, wide eyes, big smiles, and endless curiosity as they watched the robot in action and learned how it works. Seeing young minds light up with excitement is exactly why we do what we do.

Beyond robot demonstrations, we also shared information about our Summer STEM Camps, where students can take a deeper dive into coding, engineering, and hands-on robotics projects. These camps are designed to inspire creativity, build confidence, and spark a lifelong interest in STEM.

One of the highlights of the night was a hands-on LEGO activity, where each student got to design and build their very own trophy. This fun challenge combined creativity with basic engineering concepts and gave students a chance to feel like true innovators.
We are incredibly grateful to the students, teachers, staff, and families who joined us and helped make STEM Night such a success. Events like this remind us how important early exposure to STEM is, and how bright the future truly looks.

We can’t wait to see what this next generation of innovators will create, and we hope to welcome many of these enthusiastic students to our Summer STEM Camps soon!
