About S.P.A.M. Robotics Inc.

S.P.A.M. Robotics Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to advancing STEM education in Martin County, FL, by inspiring K-12 students through hands-on robotics initiatives. Our primary focus is supporting FIRST FRC Team 180—S.P.A.M. Robotics—and its programs, activities, and affiliates, fostering the growth of the local STEM workforce.

Our Purpose and Impact

Our purpose is to promote the growth of Martin County’s STEM workforce by engaging students in competitive robotics programs. Through our partnership with the Martin County School District, we’ve expanded into a 65,000 sq ft S.P.A.M. Robotics STEM Center at 1939 SE Federal Hwy, providing a hub for STEM learning and innovation. We’ve raised $120,000 this year to fund our facility, team travel, robot builds, and a full-size FRC field open to teams like FRC 3932 Dirty Mechanics, FRC 5410 Eaglebotics, FRC 801 Horsepower, and others.

Our Objectives

  1. Develop and implement educational initiatives that promote the principles of FIRST and foster a passion for robotics among students.

  2. Ensure sustainable High School student involvement by supporting introductory robotics programs at younger ages (FLL Explorer, FLL, FTC et al)

  3. Expand our network of partnerships with local businesses, educational institutions, and community organizations to support our mission and increase our impact.

  4. Provide opportunities for our students to engage actively in spreading S.P.A.M. throughout the community through mentorship, volunteering, and fundraising efforts.

  5. Ensure sustainable mentor involvement by creating a positive atmosphere, learning opportunities and growth for our mentors.

Our Advisory Board

Our Advisory Board, composed of dedicated alumni and alumni parents, shares a common goal: promoting the principles of FRC 180 S.P.A.M. and FIRST throughout our community. With their expertise and passion, we’re poised to make a lasting impact on Martin County’s students.
