S.P.A.M. Robotics Scores Big at Treasure Coast Cornhole Fundraiser!

Fresh off our stellar 2025 season, where S.P.A.M. Robotics (FRC Team 180) clinched the Galileo Division, won the Autonomous Award, and tied for 5th place on the Einstein Field at the FIRST Championship with an impressive 44-6-0 record, we’re thrilled to share the success of our latest community fundraiser! On April 26, 2025, we teamed up with Treasure Coast Cornhole, the Treasure Coast’s premier cornhole league and tournament company, for an unforgettable day of friendly competition, community spirit, and support for STEM education in Stuart, Florida.

A Winning Partnership with Treasure Coast Cornhole

Treasure Coast Cornhole, known for their professional leagues and tournaments, and their incredible custom boards and bags, brought their expertise and energy, hosting an outstanding tournament that attracted families, supporters, and STEM enthusiasts from across Martin County.

The Treasure Coast Cornhole Fundraiser was packed with excitement as players of all ages tossed bags, competed for prizes, and cheered each other on. It was a day filled with laughter, teamwork, and generosity, all aimed at fueling S.P.A.M.’s mission of inspiring the next generation of innovators and leaders.

And it wasn’t just cornhole action, thanks to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office BBQ Grill Team, attendees enjoyed delicious burgers and hot dogs hot off the grill, available for donation. Their support added to the festive atmosphere and helped raise even more for our programs!

Celebrating Our Student Champions!

The tournament wasn’t just a blast, it was a showcase of S.P.A.M. talent, too! Congratulations to Lenny Marraffino and Cora Acevedo, both S.P.A.M. students, who took 2nd place and 3rd place in the competition! 🏆 Their skills, focus, and competitive spirit made us proud and added even more excitement to an already incredible day.

Looking Ahead

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support S.P.A.M. Robotics and STEM education in our community! Your enthusiasm and generosity help us continue to grow, inspire, and empower future leaders. After such a fun and successful day, one thing’s for sure, we’ll definitely be hosting another Cornhole Fundraiser in the future! 🎯 We can’t wait to bring the community together again for even more friendly competition, great food, and support for STEM education.
