S.P.A.M. Robotics is building a FIRST future in Martin County, FL. Our team members volunteer as coaches for FLL and FTC teams, guiding younger students toward FRC. By mentoring and supporting events, we’re paving the way for the next generation of robotics innovators.
Demos: Robots in Action
Our demos bring the wow-factor of robotics to life for people who’ve never seen it up close. They’re our chance to spread the word about FIRST, share how to join FLL, FTC, or FRC teams, and raise funds for S.P.A.M.—all while letting us rip around with the robot in the off-season!
Camp In a Box: STEM on the Go
Camp In A Box is a summer camp curriculum we created to share with other FIRST teams and organizations. It serves the dual purpose of providing an effective and sustainable fundraiser for other teams and creating an outreach program to raise awareness and appreciation of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). S.P.A.M. has shared CIAB around the world and piloted it in India, The Philippines, Colombia, Brazil, and Honduras.
Robotics Camp: Team-Powered Learning
Our summer robotics camps ignite STEAM curiosity for 1st-6th graders, featuring LEGO SPIKE Prime and 3D printing. Team members volunteer as mentors, leading hands-on sessions where they teach robot design, coding, and problem-solving. They also organize activities, ensuring every camper gains skills and confidence, reflecting S.P.A.M.’s commitment to nurturing future innovators.
Martin County Fair: STEM Takes Center Stage
At the Martin County Fair, S.P.A.M. runs the show in the STEM Building, wowing 76,000 fair-goers with robot demos, FIRST program info, and hands-on support for other exhibitors. Over 12 action-packed days, we connect with a diverse crowd, sparking STEM curiosity one booth at a time.
Stuart Air Show: Taking Flight with FIRST
S.P.A.M. is leveling up at the Stuart Air Show, growing from a single robot display to hosting a full weekend booth. We’re thrilled to share FIRST’s mission with students and families at this high-flying community event, inspiring the next wave of STEM enthusiasts.
Stuart Christmas Parade: Rolling into the Holidays
Every year, S.P.A.M. lights up the Stuart Christmas Parade with a festive float featuring our standout robots from seasons past. It’s our chance to spread holiday cheer, showcase our robotics legacy, and delight the community with a merry mix of STEM and celebration!
